Celebrate Thanksgiving In Coronado

Thanksgiving is celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday in November in the U.S. It’s a time when families and friends come together to express gratitude and share a delicious meal.

This year you can celebrate Thanksgiving in Coronado Panama, too! Thursday November 23rd the Coronado Luxury Club & Suites will be putting on a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. 

The centerpiece of the meal is typically a roasted turkey, which is often stuffed with a flavorful bread-based stuffing. Other common dishes include mashed potatoes, gravy, sweet potatoes or yams, green beans, corn, cranberry sauce, and dinner rolls. You might also see macaroni and cheese, deviled eggs, or pumpkin pie at traditional Thanksgiving dinner. 

Many families have their own Thanksgiving traditions, among these traditions are giving thanks, offering food to families in need and participating in other acts of kindness and giving.

Overall, Thanksgiving dinner is a special occasion that brings people together to celebrate the blessings in their lives and enjoy good food and company.

Celebrate American Thanksgiving at the Coronado Club 

If you are looking for a traditional thanksgiving meal with all the sides celebrate thanksgiving day Thursday November 23 2023 at the Coronado Luxury Club & Suites. Enjoy a welcome cocktail and a 4 course special menu. The cost for members and guests is $45 p/p. 50% for kids under 12. There will be live music from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. in La terraza.


Where to shop for traditional Thanksgiving Dinner ingredients in Coronado

Turkey

Getting a Thanksgiving turkey isn’t too difficult, but chances are you’ll need to buy a frozen one. Frozen Butterball brand turkeys are available at Super 99, Machetazo, and PriceSmart in Costa Verde.

Cranberry Sauce

This year you will need to settle for canned cranberry at the beach its can typically be found at El Rey. It is also available at Riba Smith Coronado near the bakery counter. 

Sweet potatoes

Sweet potatoes are common at the Thanksgiving dinner table and almost always available in Coronado. Right now, with some produce not as readily available. The best place to look for sweet potatoes is Riba Smith.

Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie filling is available at El Rey. If you purchase the non-spiced variety you might need to pick up pumpkin pie spice mix or make one yourself with cinnamon and nutmeg. El Rey Coronado also bakes great fresh pies in their bakery section, but they don’t last long.
