2023 Fairs & Festivals in Panama

The Boquete Flower and Coffee Fair marks 50 years of the festival and kicks off this year’s fairs and festivals in Panama. Here are some of 2023’s most anticipated national events in Panama.
Boquete Flower and Coffee Fair 2023
The Flower and Coffee Fair celebrates its 50th edition from, January 12 until January 22, in the Boquete district, Chiriquí province 2023 the Boquete Fair brings 200 exhibitors together to receive visitors from all over the country and abroad to enjoy what the region has to offer. From the gardens that have been designed to folk dances, artistic presentations, and other activities that will take place during the event, there is a lot to do and see.
The president of the Board of the Fair of Flowers and Coffee, Rodrigo Marciacq Lloyd said "this year there is a lot of enthusiasm to visit our fair. Hotel occupancy is at 100%, which represents an important economic injection for the place. Marciacq Lloyd said that about 150,000 people are expected. In 2022, the event had profits of around $10 million. Ticket prices remain at $2 for adults, $1 for retirees, and children under 12 are free.
Thousand Polleras Parade in Las Tablas 2023
Las Mil Polleras is an annual parade that takes to the street of Las Tablas in the month of January. This year the 13th edition will be held Jan 14th, 2023.
This parade is something to see! The traditional dress for Panama is a beautiful thing, but to see so many other spectacular. Their detail and delicate construction are unmatched. But it is the tradition of the dress, something that will be experienced at the Parade of a thousand Polleras, that is special.
Each year this parade brings visitors from all over the world, growing each year as an opportunity for Panama to show off their traditions, and open the world’s eyes to Panamanian music, dance, food, and culture, specifically that of the Las Tablas region.
The Chorrera Fair 2023
From January 25th until February 5th the Chorrera Fair in Panama West is an agricultural fair with a bit of everything! This is the most important fair of Panama West and the most anticipated event in the Panama West province by locals.
The fair showcases agricultural products, industry, and the culture of La Chorrera, including rodeos, cattle and plant exhibitions, new technology demonstrations, and sales of the latest car models at discount prices.
It is also a family venue, there is a children’s corner and bouncy castles along with performances of national artists and popular dances.
