Panama Represents Central America in the World Cup

Panama is set to compete in their second World Cup. As Central America’s sole representative, Panama will play in Toronto against England on June 27th. See where to watch the game in Panama here.

Last year, Panama finished as runners-up to Mexico in the CONCACAF Nations League after defeating the United States in the semi-finals, but they faced an upset in the Gold Cup, exiting in the quarter-finals against Honduras.

The Central American squad also reached the quarter-finals of the 2024 Copa América, triumphing over the U.S. and Bolivia in the group stage before falling to eventual runners-up Colombia.

Panama kicks off their World Cup journey on June 17 against Ghana in Toronto, faces Croatia at the same venue six days later, and concludes the group stage against England in New Jersey.
