El Siglo recently conducted an interview with Oscar Ramírez the coordinator of the environmental impact study for the Panama-David train project to find out more about what the ambitious project.
Results on the feasibility of the train will be known in a year. A project that will be studied by the current administration and would be developed by the next government.
Panama will study the feasibility of building a passenger train to Costa Rica with the help of China.
A feasibility study carried out by Chinese experts is currently developing a possible route and stations for the train that could further connectivity between the interior of Panama to its capital.
