The first Mi Bus Rodeo

The first  “Rodeo Mi Bus” event took place May 7th in Panama City. Drivers and  maintenance staff wore cowboy hats and thousands of family members came out to watch the show.

Drivers had eight minutes to navigate through cones  Oliveta Aguilera and Elvis González, took first and second places. All competitors also had to take a written test to prove their knowledge of the traffic laws.

There was  musical entertainment and food stalls and children’s play centers.

Alfonso Penedo, general manager of First Transit the company that administers Mi Bus), said: “The most important thing is to celebrate the safety and professionalism of the staff who work in this company and that their family is part of their work.”
