Precautions for Carnival with kids

The National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and the Family in Panama says children under 5 years old (or pregnant women) should not attend Carnival.

The National Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and the Family (SENNIAF), urges parents and mothers and citizens in general, to take into account the following prevention measures aimed at the protection of children and adolescents.

It is recommended that parents, guardians and adults responsible for the care of children and adolescents, not put at risk children aged 0 to 5 years, or pregnant women, by partaking in carnival activities.

SENNIAF reminds that the primary responsibility of children under the age of 18 belongs to parents and that they are obliged to provide adequate guidance, care and protection.
