Bring Hope Carnival Dinner at Caracoles Café

Saturday, February 4th attend the first “Bring Hope Carnival Dinner, Dance and Auction” at Caracoles Café supporting the JLM House of Hope.

This fundraising event will feature a dinner, auction/raffle with dancing. It will be an exciting evening of mixing and mingling that also supports an important cause. Tickets are $30/person. Dinner includes a salad, choice entrée, dessert, drink ticket and raffle ticket. Limited reservations are available.

JLM Christian Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by Marie Claire (MC) Beauvil. JLM Panama then created The House of Hope. Located in Penonome (45 minutes from the entrance to Coronado), The House of Hope is Panama’s only empowerment house for at-risk girls looking to create a better future. Through education, counseling, and positive role modeling, young girls are empowered to recognize their full potential.

The girls accepted into The House of Hope come from disadvantaged homes...whether from extreme poverty, abusive situations, or far distances where higher education is not available to them. The girls must follow the guidelines set up by MC that include attending university classes, no pregnancies, and learning life skills to maintain a harmonious household. The House of Hope teaches personal responsibility and builds self-esteem that each girl will carry with them for a lifetime.

A few ways to contribute to The House of Hope are, as a volunteer, tutoring, organizing or assisting with fundraisers, making a repair to the house, assisting on a project, or just getting the word out along with monetary donations, food, personal hygiene items and clothing.
