Team Canada Vs. the World 2017 Charity Golf Event

The third annual Team Canada / Team World golf event will take place on Wednesday February 1st 2017 at Vista Mar Golf Resort. The event is a two ball/best net charity golf event that raises money for local charitable causes.

This year the event aims to raise money for the Coranado Bible School Summer Camp.

The camp allows youth from the mountain villages to partake in the camp. Those who attend the camp are provided with food, and activities likes sports and swimming.

Charity Golf Tournament Information

On Thursday, February 1 ,2017 registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue  until 9:15 a.m. at the Vista Mar club house. There will be fruit, muffins, bars and bottled water available. The tournament will begin with a  start time of 9:30 a.m.

For those who care to practice range balls will be available for free at the driving range before registration time. The cost to play is $60 for non-full time golf resident members and $25.00 for full golf resident members.

These costs include golf and cart fees, practice facility, along with range balls and many prizes. The cost also includes lunch which is a choice of beef or chicken burger fresh off the outdoor grill. Fries and a salad are included along with choice of beverage (beer, wine or soda). Additional meal tickets can be purchased for $15.00 to be paid in advance.

Max handicap is 36. All foursomes will play off the lowest handicap of the foursome. You can also enter as a single or double, players together according to individual needs.

There will be skill prizes for Long drive, short drive, closest to the pin, water balls etc.

Vista Mar Golf course has offered each player a discounted practice round rate from Jan 24th 2017 until Jan 31st, 2017 Monday to Thursday $40.00 includes cart fees. Friday to Sunday $55.00 includes cart. To receive this discount, you must be a paid  and registered player. Wear your country's  team colours proudly!
