Metro Panama – Subway System comes to Panama

The Government of Panama has rolled out a plan for a subway system to cover highly trafficked areas through Panama City. The subway, called Metro Panama, will travel above and below ground covering 14 kilometers and 13 stations from Los Andes to Albrook Terminal. The project which also includes a bus system plans to go into effect this year with an estimated completion in 2014.
