GINGERED PORK
This QUICK AND EASY recipe goes well with MEXICAN BAKED POTATO WITH SALSA AND GUACAMOLE
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon brown sugar (or palm sugar - but it's much sweeter)
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 1/2 tablespoons fresh grated ginger
1/4 teaspoon five spice powder
1 tablespoon honey garlic soy sauce
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
1/4 cup white wine
1 teaspoon minced garlic
4 small lean pork steaks, (about 200g each) or
2 pork loins (about 400g each)
How to do:

How to do:
Coat a medium pan or your BBQ plate (not the grill) with cooking spray,
Heat up well.
Combine all ingredients, except the meat, in a bowl and mix well.
Add pork to the marinade and toss well to coat.
Then fry the pork, brushing on the marinade, until cooked through well.
Serving:

We like this dish as a main meal and combine it with the "MEXICAN POTATO".
