ENTERTAINING? HAVE FUN WITH IT!

If you are like me and have been in Panama for a couple of years, you already have a small but growing group of great people who you enjoy socializing with. If so, I'm sure you find yourself often attending dinners and BBQs, and having some yourself too. For some, like my friend Jamuna, the idea of entertaining triggers cooking insecurities and conjures up visions of countless hours in the kitchen. Well!  I'm here to tell you, that entertaining does not have to be difficult. It is just as easy to have friends over to coffee as it is to put on a 5 course dinner accompanied by fine wines.

Now, don't get the idea that I spend a lot of money entertaining, or sweat for hours over a hot stove. I believe in great meals that are simple, convenient and cheap without sacrificing great taste.

The recipes I present here follow my credo of no more than 3 main ingredients and some regular things you will find in the pantry. If you live at the beaches, you won't have to run into the city to find special ingredients.
