Explosion at Las Terrazas in Coronado

There was a large explosion Sunday morning in the Las Terrazas de Coronado shopping center in the Chame district, Panama Oeste province. There was damage to a least 10 locals.

The first reports issued by the Fire Department of Panama indicate that there are no people injured. The explosion caused broken windows and walls, in addition to scattering debris and great damage to the interior of some commercial premises.

At around 7:00 am technical personnel from the Tropigas company, in charge of supplying gas to the facilities, appeared to evaluate the supply cylinder installed in this plaza.
