5.8 magnitude earthquake in Puerto Armuelles

Friday at 12:00 noon a 5.8 magnitude earthquake occurred off the coast of Puerto Armuelles in the province of Chiriquí sector, bordering Costa Rica.

The director of the National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc), Carlos Rumbo, reported that two earthquakes were felt in the provinces of Chiriquí and Bocas del Toro and that personnel from the institution are conducting reviews in these regions.
