World’s tallest building wears the Panama Flag

Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, located in the city of Dubai was dressed in the Panamanian flag over the national holidays.

The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Panama City explained that the Khalifa building was illuminated with the Panamanian flag November 3 as a greeting and tribute to the country. 

The historic event, marked a recognition of a relationship between Panama and the Middle Eastern country.

Panama’s ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, Ricardo Laviery spoke to the gesture as reinforcing ties  with the country with Panama.

The Burj Khalifa was inaugurated in 2010 and is 829.8 meters high.
