Sinaproc warns against high tides Easter weekend

Friday April 19th 2019 Panama’s National Civil Protection (Sinaproc) sent out a warning for various beaches due to high tides and heavy winds. Panama West and Cocle received a red flag.

The red flag meaning people should not enter the water. 

The beaches with yellow flag warnings included Playa Torio, Reina de Veraguas, Playa Barqueta, Playa Uverito and Arenal e Isla Iguana. 

Authorities recommend that citizens take precaution over the holidays, wherever they’re spending the weekend.
