13 gang members apprehended.

Panamanian authorities reported this morning, August 17, the apprehension of 13 people allegedly accused of gang activity, in an operation carried out in Arraiján (West Panama) and Colon.

It was called the "Jaque Mate" operation, developed by the Public Ministry and the National Police.

In Colón, the actions were carried out in La Feria, Pueblo Nuevo, calle 9 central and Meléndez and in Arraiján. According to the MP, illicit substances, a vehicle and money were seized.
