New Electric bus in Panama

A pilot project for Panama city started Monday August 6th.

A pilot operation consisting of an electric bus  started this week and is scheduled to be tested for the next 6 months.


The route will begin at El Marañon and go to  Casco Viejo .  This new system will be managed by the Mi Bus Company and for the first six months rides will be free says the Mayor’s office.

The project will be  carried out with the support of the BYD company that provided the 45-passenger bus.
