Panama’s Miss Universe announed

Rosa Montezuma is Miss Panama for Miss Universe

The representative of Comarcas, Rosa Montezuma , won the Miss Panama beauty contest last night,  June 7 and will represent the country in the Miss Universe 2018 .

The model, a native of the Alto Caballero community, in Ngäbe Buglé, prevailed over the Herrera contestant, Solaris Barba, who was elected Miss Panama for Miss World 2018.

Montezuma is 24 years old and is a student of educational informatics in a sub-site of the Regional University Center of Chiriqui.

Meanwhile, Shirel Ortíz, from Panama Centro, was chosen Miss Panama for Miss International 2018. Diana Lemos, representative of Isla San José, will be Miss Panama for Miss Earth 2018.

The contest was held at the Roberto Durán Arena.
