Panamanian nominated for Young Leaders Award

Jose Rodriguez from Santa Ana Panama has been chosen as an emerging leader of 2018 for his work with Ayudinga

Jose Rodriguez [@quexopajackson] has been chosen as one of the 10 emerging young leaders of 2018. Jose comes from humble beginnings in Santa Ana, Panama

Jackson is a collaborator of Ayudinga, a movement through which Panamanian students can use workshops, talks and videos to study more easily.

He has been chosen as one of 10 emerging young leaders between the ages of 18 and 24 from around the world.  The winners will visit the US for a 2 week intensive program designed to recognize and support their efforts to make a positive social transformation. They will travel to Austin to participate in professional meetings and interact with their American counterparts.  The young leaders will continue to their home communities with mentors and support through virtual exchange and will be eligible to apply for individual grans to support their work. 

Applicants come all over the world, Iraq, Indonesia, Turkey, Bangladesh, Lithuania, Pakistan, Norway, South Africa.
