Cooler Ban on Taboga Island

Visitors to Taboga Island will no longer be allowed to bring coolers containing alcohol or prepared food.

The ban is due to an increase in intoxicated beach goers, and people selling food without the proper permits.

The Restrictions on alcohol and prepared food have been imposed by the local municipality to aid ensure the safety of visitors. The municipality will also prohibit camping in the area of La Resting without permission.
