Fidel Castro dies at 90

Fidel Castro, Cuba's longtime revolutionary leader, has died at the age of 90.

His death was announced by his brother, Cuba’s current president, Raul Castro on Friday, November 25th 2016.

Castro lived long enough to see a historic change in the relationship between Cuba and the United States, when the two nations re-established diplomatic relations under the Obama administration 2015.

In an article posted by CNN this morning, Castro’s fame was noted. The article explain that Castro became so famous, he could be identified by only one name, “A mention of "Fidel" left little doubt who was being talked about.”
