The Prado Museum in Panama

Replicas from Madrid’s famous Prado Museum, will be on display in Plaza de Francia in Casco Antiguo until September 18th, 2016.  The exhibition organized, by the Cultural Center of Spain in Panama is working in collaboration with the National Prado Museum in Spain, the National Institute of Culture (INAC) and the City of Panama to bring the city alive with art. 

The exhibition, free to visitors, displays 55 real size reproductions of famous works representing the vast collection the Spanish museum holds. "Las Meninas" by Velazquez; "The Three Graces” by Rubens and "May 3, 1808 " by Goya, are among the famous works that can be seen in the Panama City exhibition.

The exhibition has taken to the streets of other Central American countries like Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua.
