Westland Mall Security Guard Killed in Shooting

A Westland Mall security guard was fatally shot on Friday after trying to stop a woman from being robbed at a mall ATM.

The guard was reportedly taken from the mall in Arraijan to Nicolas Solano Hospital of La Chorrera where he died hours later from the two gunshot wound inflicted.

The security guards name was Jerome Morales Ojo, he was helped by other guards before being taken to hospital in a police car. The National Police used checkpoints throughout the district of Arraijan to locate suspects, and have two men allegedly involved in the attempted robbery and murder in custody.
