The 16th Festival of Kites and Tambourines

The 16th Festival of Kites and Tambourines brought families and individuals from all of the country and abroad to enjoy the tradition of kites on April 10th at the Kiwanis Sports Complex in the City of Knowledge. For those who missed it there will be another opportunity to become familiar with the art and science of kite making

this  Saturday April 16th from 10:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Plaza of the City of Knowledge.

Alberto Alie, Workshop Coordinator will enlighten you on  history of kites and tambourines that date back to
more than 2000 to 2500 years BC.  The event is organized by the Association of Chinese-Panamanian Professionals (APROCHIPA) and is an effort to raise funds for works of social interest in low-income communities nationwide.
