Air Transat will bring regular flights from Canada to Río Hato
Tourism Authority of Panama has confirmed that Air Transat will fly four weekly flights; two from Montreal and two from Toronto, into Panama’s Río Hato Airport servicing the Pacific beaches.
Iván Eskildsen, administrator of the tourism authority explained with this frequency of international flights entering Panama’s Pacific coast, some as early as November 1st, 2022 a "Sustainable Tourism Master Plan (PMTS 2020-2025), would be executed in eight regions with tourism potential".
The coastal area from Punta Chame, in Panama West to Farallón, in Río Hato, offers unique experiences for visitors including access to empty beaches, marinas, mountain ranges, and more the administration added.
