Building beaches in Panama City
The mayor of Panama, José Luis Fábrega, is proposing to fill the beaches of Calidonia and Bella Vista located in the Bay of Panama in Panama City.
They mayor explained that it is about filling with sand the two areas of beaches that existed on Balboa Avenue. The beach of Calidonia and Bella Vista.
The first phase is to recover the beach of Calidonia and the second is Bella Vista. The project, which will cost a little more than $ 120 million, contemplates the construction of a restaurant that will be awarded as one of the mechanisms to recover the investment.
The City Hall, in addition, is putting out to tender the study of environmental impact of the project that, in the opinion of the mayor, will be a tourist attraction of the capital city.
The Mayor’s plans are to finish the work before 2022.
