Martinelli formalizes Mayoral application

Monday January 14th 2019 Ricardo Martinelli formalized his candidacy for mayor of Panama City.

Ricardo Martinelli, will run along side deputy mayor, Sergio "Chello" Gálvez in the 2019 mayoral election. 

Since Ricardo Martinelli is currently incarcerated his wife and former first lady, Marta de Martinelli, along side Deputy Gálvez consigned documentation for candidacy to be accredited by the board of directors of the party Cambio Democrático. 

The signing took place at the headquarters of the party. 

Along with the vote of his party, Martinelli had collected more than 30 thousand signatures endorsing his candidacy under free application.
