Deadly crash in Cocle

A young man lost his life Sunday morning on the InterAmerican Highwasy near the town of Llano Marín, El Coco, Penonomé, Coclé.

Alexis Zhuo Whong, A 26-year-old businessman from Penonome lost control of his pickup on the highway. The man was believed to have been speeding, as the impact was very strong. Reports state that the vehicle caught fire on impact with Whong, a father of three inside.

The incident marks the 28th traffic death of the year in Cocle alone. Three of the cases involved the vehicle catching fire.
