Suspects in robbery captured

Tuesday, May 29th, 2 men and one woman believed to be responsible for a robbery and assault were apprehended after overturning a vehicle into a stream in the province of Los Santos.

The robbery took place in the home of Albert Martínez, where him, his wife and daughter resided. 

Martinez explained that his house, located in La Limona, Las Cruces district, in the province of Los Santos, was broken into. The assailants were two men and one woman who wore vests that had the logo of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) on them. 

After the robbery, the robbers fled in a vehicle, they proceeded to flip vehicle. While they continued to flee on foot, they were captured. 

The commissioner of the National Police of Los Santos, Frank Pinilla, confirmed the capture of three of the suspects. It was determined that the vehicle was not owned by any of the suspects but rather someone in Panama City. 

Pinilla stressed that the cooperation of the community was key in apprehending the three subjects.
