Mulino applies for Presidential Candidacy

José Raúl Mulino formalizes his candidacy to the presidential per-candidacy for CD party

Former Public Security Minister José Raúl Mulino went to the headquarters of the Cambio Democrático party (CD) on Monday morning, May 28, to present his candidacy for the per-candidacy for  the country’s Presidential post for that group.

Mulino went to the CD headquarters accompanied by family, friends and supporters, including Mario Martinelli, brother of former president Ricardo Martinelli.

The former official presented his candidacy, whose primaries will be held on August 12.

Mulino told the media that the challenges are many, especially within his political group.

He added that he has the conviction that he will win the elections and emphasized that CD party is neither government nor Valerian. "Democratic Change with my voice will be distinguished as an opposition party with a coherent proposal."
