Crashed plane to be studied

A private aircraft that crashed off the coast of La Enea de Guararé, in Los Santos surfaced this morning, Thursday, May 17 will receive an evaluation before it is sent to the Technological University.

The pilot of the plane and the only person on aboard, Gustavo Arosemena, was rescued by fishermen and Joaquín Pablo Franco Sayas hospital in Las Tablas, where remains in stable condition. 

Thursday morning the plane surfaced and a team of 25 people, including divers and fishermen worked together to remove the aircraft from the sea, explained Carlos Sáez, the aviation expert in charge of the operation.

Sáez explained that the aircraft would be dismantled and then transfer it to the Technological University for aviation students to study.
