Torres on the best paid salary list

The list of salaries of Major League Soccer players for this season (MLS) has been published.

Panamanian soccer player, Román Torres , of the Seattle Sounders, leads the list that was published on the official page of the players’ association with a base salary of $574K , which goes up to $645K annually after bonuses.

Second place goes to Aníbal Godoy, of the San José Earthquakes, at $423K ,  and in third place is his teammate Harold Cummings at $300K a year.

The minimum wage in the MLS for this season is $67.5K.

Italian striker Sebastian Giovinco is listed as the highest paid in the league in 2018 with an annual salary of 7.1 million dollars.
