AIC’s main office moves to Panama

The Inter-American Accounting Association (AIC), the organization that brings together most of the authorized public accountants of the continent, will install its main office in Panama next May.

The new headquarters will open on Thursday, May 17th, coinciding  with the XIV Inter-American Regional Accounting Seminar, being held in the capital.

The Inter-American Accounting Association, which was founded in 1949 has the main objective of uniting the accountants of the American continent and maintaining a standard of quality in the management of accounting businesses , promoting the professional development of its members so that they be ethical, suitable and transparent.

’In the course of its 65 years of institutional work, the AIC has helped to strengthen the professional organizations of accountants in the American countries that sponsor as well as actively participate in the harmonious development of their conceptualizations and their practices said the union in a press release.

The guild of accounting professionals promotes the constant raising of the professional quality of its members, their knowledge and social duties.  It is being recognized as the oldest international accounting organization in the world.
