Light show inaugurates patriotic month

Hundreds gathered in the Plaza de la Independencia, in Panama city to watch the newly restored Municipal Palace, Demetrio H. Brid, light up with Panama’s patriotic colors, Tuesday, October 31st.

The headquarters of the Municipal Council were lit up and the event brought Panamanian folklore to the city with tamboritos, empolleras, diablicos, along with fireworks. 

Before the presentation, the key to the city was given to the archbishop of Panama, José Domingo Ulloa. 

In honor of the Patriotic holidays that take place in November Municipal Palace, Demetrio H. Brid will remain lit up at night in red, white and blue.
