Panama advances at World Surfing Championship
Panamanian surfers advanced at the 2017 VISSLA ISA World Junior Surfing Championship in Japan, as the first surfers were eliminated from the competition Tuesday, September 26th.
Panama is currently being represented at the games by Panamanian surfers, Tao Rodríguez, Luis Carlos López, Diego Goldner, Isauro Elizondo, Elliot Perrochon, Agustín Cedeño, Sarah Sanchez and Andrea Vliegh.
Agustín Cedeño, Isauro Elizondro, and Tao Rodríguez have made it to the third round of the world surfing event. Cedeño, Rodríguez, and Elizondo compete in the U18 category. Elizondo and Rodriguez also compete in the Under-16 category.
Carlos López in the group Sub-16, Andrea Vlieg and Sarah Sánchez of the U18 have advanced to the second round and will compete today, Tuesday, September 26th.
