Tao Rodriguez takes first at NSSA Surfing Event

Panamanian Surfer Tao Rodriguez has won first place in his category (Jr. Sub 15) at the National Scholastic Surfing Association (NSSA), in Huntington Beach California.

Tao, 14 years of age, traveled to California from San Carlos, in Panama West to participate in the first NSSA event. After this, it’s off to Japan to represent Panama in the ISA World Jr. Surfing Tour from the 23rd of September until the 1st of October.

Tao will be among other Panamanian surfers Luis Carlos Lopez, Diego Goldner, Isauro Elizondo, Agustin Cedeno, Sarah Sanchez and Andrea Vliegh.
