Expat arrested for hit-and-run

July 30th, 2017, 48-year-old Feliciano Lorenzo Perez was hit by a pickup while crossing the highway with his dog near the Pio Pio in Anton, Cocle. The driver, a 52-year-old expat, was driving a pickup and fled the scene.

Witnesses alerted the police and the suspect has been detained while an investigation is underway. Reports say that the victim was also run over by a bus following the initial hit and run.
