Six people arrested in Arraiján for attempting to run over a police officer

Six people (one woman and five men) were arrested on Monday, May 21, 2017, in Arraiján, Panama west for attempting to run over a member of the National Police.

Found in the car was a  firearm and a full magazine of ammunition. According to the National Police force, a sedan carrying the fix suspects was traveling, on the shoulder of the road.

The sedan tried to flee, but was intercepted by police officers who moved in.
The National Police said that there were no shots fired. Investigations in this case continue.
