Firefighters Receive Immediate Raise

An Executive Decree signed by President Juan Carlos Varela and published in the Official Gazette will give Panama’s firefighters an immediate salary increase.

The decree, also signed by the Minister of Government María Luisa Romero, sets the new base pay at $850/ month.
