Ministry of Health Takes Heart Drug off the Market

Panama’s Ministry of Health has announced they will be taking the drug Norepinephrine 4mg solution for injection from Vitrofarma and Vitalis off the market in Panama.

The withdraw of the drug is due to manufacturing defects.

A statement from the National Directorate of Pharmacies and Drugs , it was said that the company has ordered the withdrawal of all medicines of Norepinephrine in its version 4mg solution for injection , due to the "degradation of the active principle" of the drug.

The Panamanian ministry of health asks that people people and health centers  not use the drug produced by this brand.
 
Norepinephrine is used as a pressure regulator and to treat heart problems.
