New lanes from La Chorrera to San Carlos announced

President Juan Carlos Varela recently announced that the government will build two new lanes on the Panamerican highway between La Chorrera and San Carlos.

In a meeting with various media outlets, Varela said that this project is part of a 6 billion dollar urban mobility investment plan that his administration will develop.

The road that will extend approximately 70 kilometers.

The president also announced that on Friday December 9th 2016 the country will present the details of the expansion works, which include eight lanes of the PanAmerican highway, from the bridge of the Americas to La Chorrera.
