No Boozing, Music or Parties November 2nd
In commemoration of the "Day of the Dead.”, the Panama City Mayor's Office has placed restriction on the sale of liquor on Monday, Nov. 2. Also banned that day are, dances, karaoke and the playing of music.
The decree reads: "This is a date that Panamanians and foreign residents of the District of Panama should dedicate to the reflection and memory of our deceased, with due respect and consideration."
Violators of the "Day of the Dead” face fines up to $1,000.
