Panamanian Gymnast wins Bronze at World Championship

Panamanian gymnast, Isabella Amado Medrano, took home the bronze medal at the gymnastics World Cup, that look place last weekend weekend in Osijek, Croatia. Medrano managed to reach the podium in the beam, with 13.45 score in a clean presentation without falls.

Gold was won by Brazilian Jade Fernandes Barbosa, with a score of 14.225 and the silver medal went to Hungarian gymnast, Dorina Boczogo who scored 13,575.

It was Medrano was the first time at the games after competing last July at the Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. The gymnast is now focused on the forty-sixth World Gymnastics Championships to be held from 24 October to 2 November in Glasgow, Scotland.

This international event is perhaps the most important of the year as it is a competition as it is a qualifying event for the Olympic Games next year in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
