Carlitos on the main highway in San Carlos has just upgraded its menu. Open for a year and a half serving pizza and empanadas, this cheery restaurant has added a grill with a New York steak, “Bife de Chorizo,” as its specialty.

Carlitos is a bright, cheerful place. The wooden tables are hand painted with interesting designs. The restaurant is clean, service is prompt. Try their white wine sangria. Note: You can bring your friendly dog to the terrace area. |
