CORONADO AREA NEWS BULLETIN
Dear Residents and Visitors of Coronado and Members of the Coronado Golf Club, We have come to realize that there is some confusion about who is in charge of various projects around the area of Coronado, and felt the need to issue a bulletin to assist in bringing concerns to the proper areas. Over the years, the Eisenmann Family has come to be associated with Coronado. While the Family does own land and developments in the area, they do not own the entire area called Coronado. THE EISENMANN FAMILY (Don Bob) owned the whole land and started the development called Coronado. The various projects bought the land directly from the Eisenmanns’ or have repurchased from people who originally bought from them.
Coronado is growing fast. There are many developers and owners of projects. Each project has its own set of rules and people who are responsible for co-ordination and regulation.
The Guard Gate at the Entrance to Coronado
The Guard Gate at the Entrance to Coronado
One of the biggest misconceptions in the area is around what is known as Garrita No.1, or the Guard gate at the entrance to the Coronado.
This gate is installed and run by the Coronado Residents Association. The association is an independent operating body of property owners. The association has its own board just like any homeowners’ association anywhere. Desarrollo Golf Coronado (the Eisenmann Family’s company) pays $2,134.00 as a monthly contribution plus the team headed by Sr. Rolando de Leon, who’s brigade does the minor maintenance of the road. They are subject to the rules and regulations of the Residents Association. Each Homeowner should be paying an ANNUAL fee of $100.00. The office of the Resident’s Association is located next to the Police Station at Garrita No.1.
Phyllis de Lopez - Regidora of Coronado
We do not know who will fill the position or the circumstances of Phyllis’ absence from the role. We are also unclear about the Regidora’s role in the operations of the Residents Association. Please contact the Association for information. Telephone: 240-4776.
Beach Road Improvement Project
The project to raise funds and improve the beach road is a Resident Association initiative. Like other property owners, Desarollo is a due-paying contributor of the project and is subject its operations. Desarollo does not run or have special influence in the road project. The project is run by Arq. Carlos Clement who can be reached through the Resident’s Association. Telephone: 240-4776.
We hope this bulletin clears up misconceptions and provides you the contact information you need to take concerns to the proper areas. We will continue to keep you posted as soon as we have verified information from the correct sources.
