Calling all artists in Panama

Are you an artist in Panama? 

July 2nd, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Coronado Frame will host an Art Show & Sale in the Rincon del Chef Plaza. And they are seeking 6 artists to show their work.

The event,  aimed at growing the creative community in Coronado, will offer 6 artists the opportunity to show up to 6 pieces of work. 

The event will also offer an art auction run by Coronado Frame benefiting rural communities in Panama. 

June 25th will be the opening of the Art Auction for charity. Artwork will be displayed until the event on July 2nd and the auction will close at 3:00 p.m. when the winner will be announced.

The event will be open to the public and will take place on July 2nd, 2022.  This is a great opportunity to network with creatives in the community & connect in person. For more information on the event contact Vicente at coronadoframe@gmail.com

ART SUBMISSION CRITERIA 



- A max of six pieces can be submitted. 

- Submissions are accepted only in two- dimensional mediums only: Two-dimensional Painting, - Drawing, or Photography Print.


- Size limit depending on space available. 

- pieces must be stretched, framed, or mounted. If you require these services please submit your article please submit by June 17th.



FOR CONSIDERATION 


 Complete an “Art Submission Form and Waiver and Release Form” email coronadoframe@gmail.com for the forms via email. 

The final deadline to submit forms and photographs or art in-person to the Coronado Frame shop is June 22nd.

 NOTE: If your artwork is not ready to show please submit your artwork to Coronado Frame by June 17th.

All artists will be offered a 10% discount on the cost of mounting, framing & stretching. Simple adjustments, like adding a wire, mounting to foam board, etc. are also offered. 

Artists will receive notice if their artwork has been accepted on June 22nd.

Note: artists are chosen on a first-come basis. If your artwork meets all the requirements above, we suggest applying today to reserve a spot.

There is no cost for submission. If your work is accepted, it is expected that the art will remain in the possession of Coronado Frame until the show. All transactions will be made through Coronado Frame for art sold on the date of the show and a 25% commission will be paid to Coronado Frame for the sale of each piece.
