Chame Mayor issues a decree that prohibits crowds though January
The mayor of Chame, Abdul Juliao, has issued a decree that suspends performance, dances and all activities or events that involve crowds of people in the district of Chame, Panama Jan. 18 - 31 2022.
In his legal powers, the mayor of Chame sanctioned the Decree suspending activities that would incite a crowd in the district in an effort to stop the increase of covid-19 cases throughout the district.
Offenders could be sanctioned with fines of up to one thousand dollars according to the decree, which comes after recommendations from the Ministry of Health to create measures that would help stop the spread of covid-19 in Panama.
So far it appears that schools in the district will remain open, as for casinos, cockfighting rings, and bars it is unclear.
