Holiday menus at Caelo Beach Restaurant
This holiday season there is a new option for a special dinner at the beach. Caelo Beach Restaurant in San Carlos offers prix-fixe menus for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (take away), and New Years’ eve
Each prix-fixe menu below was designed by chefs @erasmobosquez and @ajoselegustacocinar, the masterminds behind the Caelo Beach Restaurant.
Thanksgiving Nov. 25th was a traditional Thanksgiving turkey with a twist of course. For $40 per person the menu offered main, side & dessert. Starters included Cherry tomatoes and feta salad/cream of smoked pumpkin with pumpkin seeds. Mains were, Turkey breast in a cranberry & flor de jamaica sauce and ham marinated cooked its own juices.
Sides Were Potatoes and gravy, rice with almonds, Cornbread and finally desert an option of Pumpkin pie or Chocolate Tarte.
Christmas dinner on December 24th is a gourmet dinner to-go, a great option for anyone who does not want to spend the holiday in the kitchen. The menu ($48 per person) includes Ham or turkey in its juices, rice with guandu and coco, Waldorf salad, butter tamales or bollos, sweet plantains, and rum cakes. EXTRAS include Jar of Sangria $30, Egg Nogg $10, Vegan punch $10. Pick-up free, delivery available price dependant on distance. Orders open Dec. 22 get yours in while supplies last!
New Years’ Eve Party at Caelo Beach Restaurant Dec. 31st is a prix-fixe menu. Dinner seatings are from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The menu is four courses ($55 per person) The mains Sui Mai de Langosta and caviar or truffle dumplings. The second courses are Steak tartar or Raw hamachi Vinagreta de Yuzu. The Plato Furte is Ride with Prawns or Filet Minion. Dessert is a choice of Chocolate Tarte or Mil Hojas with a white chocolate mousse.
