Lifeless body found in Punta Barco

Members of Panama’s Fire department found a lifeless body of a young man reported missing Sunday afternoon in Punta Barco.

Members of the San Carlos Panama firefighting team restarted the search this morning when they discovered the body. The coordination with the public ministry to remove the body has begun. 

Panama National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) continued to advise citizens to stay away from beaches and rivers issuing a red flag warning as preventative measure. Rough conditions are expected due to indirect effects of Hurricane Iota.
