Beaches remain closed in Panama West
Beaches in Panama will remain closed until at least October 12th 2020. Panama originally announced they would reopen their beaches Monday, September 28th, however decided to maintain the closures.
The Minister of Health, Luis Francisco Sucre, reported that the beaches would remain closed for at least 15 more days to avoid an increase in new cases of coronavirus throughout Panama.
15 days from September 28th will bring us to October the 12th for a possible reopening of beaches in Coronado Panama. This date however is not fixed, it is possible that the government will continue to postpone. The decision could also vary by province, and if so Panama West beaches will likely continue to remain closed.
